A Woman’s Right to Shoes

(Salah satu episode favorit saya di Sex and The City)

Dedicated to all single women in the world, “U are not alone, darl.”

**

**
Carrie : Aku memang Santa Klaus. Totalnya lebih dari 2.300 dollar untuk merayakan pilihan hidupnya (In total, I have spent about 2,300 dollars Celebrating her choices #suka logat and gayanya Carrie pas ngomong ini😀 ).

Charlotte : Ada, ulang tahun.

Carrie : Oh, no, no. We all have birthday. I am talking about the single. There is no ‘Congratulations you didn’t marry the wrong guy’ card.

Charlotte : Kau benar. Kenapa aku harus mendapat hadiah pernikahan? Menemukan Harry adalah hadiah.

Carrie : Bukan begitu. Aku senang memberimu hadiah untuk merayakan hidupmu (celebrate your life). So, the morale of this story is until I get married, I never get present from Kyra.

**

“Hay, it is Carrie Bradshaw.I want let u to know that I am getting married… to my self. Oh, And I registered at Manolo Blahnik. So thanks. Bye.”

One giant step for me, and small step for single woman

**

Finally, Kyra gave Carrie shoes (Manolo Blahnik, of course :D) for her wedding present. And Carrie smiled, “It was my very first wedding present.”

**

The fact is, sometimes it is hard to walk in single woman shoes. That’s why we need really special, now and end, to make the walk more fun.

Quotes from My Friends about Shoes, Being Single, Man, Mate, …

>> Ladies, men come and go.. but shoes and best friends STAY! (Sheilla)

>> Maybe a journey to find our mate is like a journey to find our shoes. I just think that we meet many good shoes, but only the best one get our attention and passion (Carrie Bradshaw via Eka)

We can’t compare ‘mate’ with ‘shoes’…coz shoes is a breakable thing…you’ll need to change it with a new one,,,someday….:D
